Three DevOps engineers placed at Accenture

Problem

Accenture's cloud-native delivery practice needed DevOps engineers who could land on a client engagement and be billable in the first sprint, not after months of internal ramp. The open market produced plenty of CV keywords for GitHub Actions and Kubernetes, far less for engineers who had run a real pipeline through a security review or held an SLO governance call.

What we did

• Pre-vetted CVs landed within 48 hours of the brief
• Each candidate had hands-on production experience with CI/CD, container security and Kubernetes operations
• Two of the three had prior consultancy delivery exposure, which shortened the orientation around timesheets and engagement governance
• Coordinated start dates with the consultancy's client engagement calendar so the engineers landed on billable work in week one

Outcome

• Three CoderCo alumni placed as DevOps engineers at Accenture
• All three billable inside the first month
• Two have since taken on senior DevOps engineer titles
• Continued referrals across the same practice for adjacent roles
