Problem

Capgemini's cloud and DevOps practice needed engineers who could land on a client engagement and be billable in the first sprint rather than after months of internal ramp. The open market produced plenty of CV keywords but far fewer engineers with both production cloud experience and the consultancy delivery rhythm clients expect.

What we did

• Surfaced three pre-vetted alumni from the CoderCo network with hands-on AWS and Azure plus the Terraform and Kubernetes depth the engagements required
• Each candidate already understood timesheets, engagement governance and the way a consultancy partner operates on a client site
• CVs and interview prep landed inside the hiring manager's first available slot
• Coordinated start dates with the engagement calendar so the engineers landed on billable work in week one

Outcome

• Three CoderCo alumni placed into Capgemini's cloud and DevOps practice
• All three billable on client engagements inside the first sprint
• Continued referrals across the same practice for adjacent roles
• Two of the three have since taken on senior consultant titles
